Copperleaf Custom Builders Inc. was founded on these ideals.

Owners Jim Lohr and Jeff Harmsen saw the need for customer interaction during the building process that larger firms just don't provide. It doesn't end there! With almost 30 years of combined experience and oversight of more than 2000 homes along the Front Range, you can rest assured that our experience is working for you!

Jeff Harmsen 

General:

  • 1991 Graduated from the University of Wyoming with a B.S. in Business Administration
  • 1992 - 2005 Started construction career with a large area builder as an Assistant Superintendent. Promoted to Superintendent and eventually to North Area Construction Manager.
  • 1995 - Present Married wife Amy and became a family man, with daughter Ashtyn and son Kolten.

Accomplishments:

  • I.C.B.O./I.R.C. Certified Building Inspector (Since 1996).
  • 1999 Recipient of the Metro Denver H.B.A. Construction Manager of the Year Award.
  • 2002 and 2003 Recipient of the D.R. Horton Nationwide Construction Supervisor of the Year Award.
  • 2004 Recipient of the D.R. Horton- Melody Series Field Staff Member of the year.
  • Holder of certifications in stormwater management, O.S.H.A. Training and Quality Construction through the H.B.A. 

Hobbies:

  • Hunting, Fishing and the great outdoors

 Jim Lohr 

General:

  • 1967 to Present Born and raised a Colorado Native.
  • 1991 – 2005 Started home building career with a well respected production homebuilder as an Assistant Superintendent. Promoted to Superintendent and then Northern Construction Manager/ Production Manager from Colorado Springs to Fort Collins.
  • 1991 to Present Married to my wife Rebecca and Father to three children Tyler, Jacob, and Jennifer.

Accomplishments:

  • I.C.B.O. / I.R.C. Certified Building Inspector. (Since 1996)
  • 1998 Recipient of the Denver Metro H.B.A. Construction Manager of the year award.
  • Chair / Co-Chair Denver Metro H.B.A. Quality Construction Committee/ Safety Committee.
  • Holder of certifications in C.D.O.T. Storm Water Management, O.S.H.A. 10 / 40 Hour Safety and Health Training. 

Hobbies:

  • Youth sports, camping, hunting, and anything to do with the outdoors.

Adam Glodt

 

General:

  • 1999 - 2005 Started construction career with well respected home builder.  Started as a laborer, promoted to Back-end/Front-end Superintendent.
  • 2005 - 2007 Became production manager for a small custom home builder.

  • 2003 to Present Became a Father to my son Joseph 

Accomplishments:

  • OSHA Certified
  • HBA Certified in Quality Construction
  • Fall Protection
  • CPR Certified
  • First Aid Certified
  • Built Green Certified

  • 2006 HBA Quality Construction Manager of the Year

Hobbies:

  • Fishing, Camping, Boating, Snowmobiling, and Football.

 

Brian Kelly

 

General:

  • 1991 attended the University of Wyoming as a member of the wrestling team.

  • 1997-2008 Continued construction career with well respected home builder.  Started as Asst. Superintendent, promoted to Superintendent, and then to construction Area Manager for Northern Colorado

  • 1995 to present. Married to high school sweetheart Sadie with dogs Winchester and Remington 

Accomplishments:

  • I.C.B.O/ I.R.C Certified building Inspector (since 1997)

  • Certificate holder for CDOT Storm Water Management

  • Quality Construction through the HBA

  • Authorized OSHA outreach trainer for the 10 hour and 30 hour construction course

  • Completed the OSHA 10 hour, 500 and 501 courses

  • Qualified Contractor in several jurisdictions

     

Hobbies:

  • Street rods, jeeps, hunting, camping and golfing.
